| This first training event is May 1st Isabel (Iz) said we will sit down today and do the proper invitations. So anyone here who wishes to attend that she doesn't have your info pm her here.
Carpooling is a good idea.
Now to make this seem more complex than it is...
Replicas: Rifle - with a barrel cover + 2 point sling for rifle if you have a pistol and want to learn transitions + fully charged battery - if aeg + rifle magazine(s) - mid caps are best - suggested 3 or more + bb's - Best for most of you will be .25g whites
gbb pistol - if you have one + a holster or barrel cover/barrel plug + holster - if you want to learn transitions + pistol mag(s) - suggested 3 or more + pistol gas
I'd love to be able to teach you all transition drills, ammo management and more, but that only works if you have these full kit items. No worries if you don't.
Kit: eyepro long sleeves and long pants (it is a farm) a cover (also known as a hat) boots (the ground is a tad rough still, flat, mostly, but rough knee pads, if you have them, see above Optional this session - chest rig, vest, belt set, side carry bag, pistol holster or similar to carry your extra rifle magazines, your pistol, extra magazines etc
Accessories: folding chair bug spray sun block
Other: Food - talk to Isabel about what is your share that you must bring Extra water
Attitude: Needs to be positive and willing to learn.
Note to those who don't have things... don't strain. Bring what you have, Pm me to see if you can borrow what you need and come have a great time.
Notes: Guns MUST be brought directly to the range in a case, bag or box. No exceptions. All safety rules will be followed and enforced. Safety 4.3M Gun Safety 1. Loaded – Treat the gun as though it is loaded. Assume the gun is loaded. 2. Direction – Do not point the gun muzzle at anything you do not intend to shoot. 3. Trigger – Keep your finger off the trigger, straight along the side and outside of the trigger guard until you intend to shoot. 4. Target – Know your target, what is beyond and what is around it. Airsoft Safety 1. EyePro – Always wear eye protection when airsoft guns are in use. Remember airsoft bb’s bounce and ricochet off everything. 2. Clear – When not in use clear the gun and make safe - While keeping the gun pointed in a safe direction, remove the magazine (if equipped), remove all ammo from the gun (use a gun clear confirmation barrel/box/snail if available), place it on safe and place a barrel plug or cover on the end of the barrel. (Maintain rule 2 “muzzle direction” at all times.) 3. Bag – When transporting your guns, clear the gun and render safe as in rule 2 above, always transport the gun in a bag or case, keep ammo and magazines in a separate bag or section and transport it in the trunk/boot of the vehicle or as far away from passengers as possible. Muzzle – Treat the muzzle of your gun as though there was a laser beam streaming from it and always on. Whatever the laser beam touches it cuts through and destroys
Our - Airsoft Range Commands
Cease Fire, Cease Fire, Cease Fire Immediately! Stop firing. Keep the gun pointed in a safe direction, remove your finger from the trigger, place the gun on safe. Await further instructions from the Range staff. This is an emergency command. This command should be given by anyone witnessing an unsafe situation. Everyone on the range should repeat this call out.
Range is Hot, You may load and make ready Keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. You may now handle your gun. You may now remove your barrel cover, load and insert magazines. You may not fire yet.
Shooters Ready? The range staff is asking if the shooters on the range are ready to go?
Hold Staff or Shooters may call out “HOLD” if there is a reason to not proceed when asked if shooters are ready.
Hit ‘Em, Bust ‘Em, Fight, Go, Start or You may fire when ready You should start shooting now, you should start the drill now or you may start shooting when you are ready.
Hold Fire Stop shooting, point the gun in a safe direction, remove your finger from the trigger, place the gun on safe. Await further commands from range staff.
Cease Fire & Make Safe Immediately! Stop firing, keep the gun pointed in a safe direction, remove your finger from the trigger, place the gun on safe, remove detachable magazines/rounds and install barrel cover or plug. Holster, sling or bench (safe direction) gun. Wait for further instructions from the Range Staff. This command may be accompanied by a long blast on a whistle.
Range is Clear, Range is Cold The staff have verified all guns have been made safe, are unloaded, and covers on. At this point you may not load bb's or a magazine into any gun. All guns must remain unloaded and barrel covers/plugs on. Obey muzzle direction safety, even for storage (holster, sling, & bench). You may go downrange and check targets!
Possible Curriculum for the Day: Note: Breaks will be taken at random times throughout the classes around 1 per hour. I will teach what I can depending on skill levels of each student as well what will benefit you all the most. Understand I could be cramming in a ton of info, those who want to really learn will need to sign up for additional events and private or specific classes.
Gathering & familiarization Go over safety rules, range commands, emergency procedures, first aid kit location Etc.

That depends. This first event is full. The next event is 90%+ full and after that not sure yet. Friend the page on facebook, then send Isabel a message explaining who you are and why you would want to attend, she may then send you an invite and information for future events. | |

| Scissors and some gung-ho college students could do the trick! Buwahaha. Or start using it as an entrance fee, 3 square yards with scissors, then the drills begin! | |

| Chipmunk... I have pruning shears and thatching rakes for the hard stuff, and it's 100 sq ft per person. FQX... we do have cattle, do they count as mowers? Maybe I should borrow the neighbors goats? haha | |

| Our lanlord found us a mower. Now I need to assemble it and see if I can get it to work. I want to move my shed about 10 ft over so those getting here early that may be the task (along with set up and maybe mowing haha) Let me know who is coming early please. Weather is looking perfect, partly sunny in the 70's. Bring sunblock, and bug spray. (as well the rest of your stuff) Also wear long pants and I suggest boots with ankle protection. Bring your food as allocated by Isabel. (I know one or two of you plan to sneak in your significant other ie girlfriend or boyfriend, make sure to contact Iz to let her know and find what they should bring as well. The food allotment is important Again make sure your aeg is working, battery(s) are charged and you have bb's. Questions???? Ask away. cheers Rob and Isabel | |
